Hyderabad: In preparation for the upcoming Gram Panchayat elections, Shadnagar police on Thursday conducted a flag march across key villages in Farooqnagar Mandal to build public confidence and reinforce security.

The flag march was held in Mogiligidda, Yellampally, Chowlapally, and Kishannagar villages. It was led by ACP Laxmi Narayana and SHO Vijay Kumar.
A total of 50 police personnel participated in the operation, which aimed to reassure residents and deter any potential disruptions during polling.
Police urge public cooperation for peaceful elections
During the march, officers interacted with locals, inspected sensitive areas, and called on citizens to cooperate with authorities. They urged the public to report any suspicious activities and help maintain peace during the election process.
The exercise served as a visible demonstration of the department’s commitment to ensuring fair and orderly polling in the region.
