Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Telangana from December 17 to 22 as part of her winter schedule. A Minister-in-Waiting will accompany her during the visit. The President’s visit includes several programmes planned in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. Officials said she will attend cultural, administrative, and public events during her stay.
The State government named Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka as the Minister-in-Waiting for the President visit. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao issued the orders on Friday. Seethakka will coordinate protocol arrangements and work with central and State authorities throughout the tour.

Murmu will stay at the Rashtrapati Nilayam from December 17 to 21 as part of her winter sojourn. Departments have begun large-scale preparations for her programmes. Senior officials reviewed venue readiness, schedule management and coordination requirements.
Police teams designed traffic, security and bandobust plans for the President visit. Officers will be deployed across key locations to ensure smooth movement and timely supervision.
