Seethakka hails smooth and peaceful conduct of gram panchayat polls

Hyderabad: Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka on Wednesday congratulated department officials for successfully conducting the gram panchayat polls in Telangana. She praised the peaceful, smooth, and systematic execution of the elections, noting that not a single untoward incident occurred.

The Minister said the peaceful polls were a matter of pride for the state, as they reinforced democratic processes at the village level. She extended her appreciation to all staff involved in the planning and execution of the elections.

Seethakka offered special thanks to State Election Commissioner Rani Kumudini for her transparent and committed supervision. According to the Minister, Kumudini’s continuous monitoring ensured fairness and order throughout the election period.

She also applauded G. Srujana, Commissioner of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development department, for her leadership as Election Authority. Seethakka said Srujana had efficiently coordinated district-level staff and ensured every phase of the polls was completed without disruption or controversy.

The Minister expressed confidence that this level of administrative performance would continue after the new gram panchayat bodies take charge. She urged officials to maintain their commitment and aim to improve rural service delivery further.
