Hyderabad: Minister Danasari Anasuya, popularly known as Seethakka, distributed free three-wheel scooters to disabled girls under a State welfare initiative.
The distribution took place at the Minister’s camp office through the Telangana Disabled Cooperative Corporation.
Seethakka handed over the scooters to beneficiaries and asked them to use the vehicles effectively for mobility and daily needs.
Seethakka urges better outreach of welfare schemes
She said the government has been implementing several welfare schemes for persons with disabilities. Therefore, she asked officials to identify eligible beneficiaries and ensure delivery of benefits.
She stressed that officials must take responsibility to reach every disabled person with the available schemes.
District Library Organisation Chairman Bhanoth Ravichander and Congress leaders attended the programme.
