Security guard found dead at Karimnagar Maruti showroom under suspicious circumstances

Hyderabad: A security guard died under suspicious circumstances at a Maruti Suzuki showroom in Vidyaranyapuri, Karimnagar, early Tuesday.

The guard, Kommula Narayana (50), hailed from Karkhanagadda and had been posted at the True Value showroom for some time. He reported for duty on Monday night. By morning, co-workers found him unresponsive.

They alerted his family and informed the Karimnagar Rural Police. Officers reached the scene and started a preliminary inquiry.

Family stages protest at showroom

The deceased’s relatives gathered outside the showroom and staged a protest. They demanded an explanation for his sudden death. Police dispersed the protest and moved the body for post-mortem.

Officials have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
