Hyderabad: To accommodate increased pilgrim traffic during the Sabarimala season, South Central Railway (SCR) has announced six special trains connecting Charlapalli, Kollam, and H.S. Nanded in January 2026.
Sabarimala special trains scheduled from Charlapalli
Train No. 07135 will run from Charlapalli to Kollam on January 14 and 21. The return service, Train No. 07136, will operate from Kollam to Charlapalli on January 16 and 23.
These trains will halt at key stations including Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Kurnool, Renigunta, Tirupati, Salem, Erode, Palakkad, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, and Chengannur.
Nanded–Kollam route to aid pilgrim flow
For pilgrims from northern Telangana and Maharashtra, SCR will run Train No. 07133 from H.S. Nanded to Kollam on January 7, with the return service, Train No. 07134, departing Kollam on January 9.
These services will halt at major stations such as Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Tirupati, and continue onward to Kollam.
The trains are designed to support the seasonal flow of Sabarimala devotees travelling to Kerala in January.
