HYDERABAD: Founder President of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) Manda Krishna Madiga has accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of favoring the Mala community in government job allocations, thereby neglecting the promised Scheduled Caste (SC) classification reforms.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Krishna Madiga alleged that while the Chief Minister publicly supports SC classification, he is simultaneously implementing policies that benefit the Malas, sidelining the Madiga community.
Krishna Madiga claimed that the Chief Minister is proceeding with job recruitments favoring the Mala community before completing the SC classification process. He demanded that Revanth Reddy honor his commitment made in the Assembly to implement SC classification reforms and, failing that, resign from his position. He announced plans to launch indefinite protests in universities across districts starting tomorrow, pressing for the implementation of SC classification before any further job recruitments.
