Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan on Tuesday set a June deadline for completing the Santosh Nagar flyover.
During an unscheduled inspection, he reviewed the progress of the flyover works at the site. He directed engineering officials to speed up construction.
He said officials must treat June as a firm deadline. Therefore, teams must accelerate work to meet the target.
The Commissioner inspected the Chanchalguda–Santosh Nagar steel flyover project. He emphasised timely execution to avoid delays in the flyover completion.

R.V. Karnan conducted the inspection along with senior officials. Charminar Zonal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy also accompanied him.
He reviewed on-ground progress and issued instructions to improve the pace of execution. Moreover, he stressed close monitoring to ensure the flyover meets the deadline.
Officials assured that they would intensify works. They said they would take necessary steps to complete the project within the timeline.
The flyover is expected to ease traffic movement in the area once completed. It will also improve connectivity between Chanchalguda and Santosh Nagar.
