Hyderabad: A large Sangareddy Iftar gathering organised by senior Congress leader Jaggareddy took place on Sunday at Milad Ground in Sangareddy to mark the Ramzan season.
Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Damodar Rajanarsimha attended the event as chief guests. MP Suresh Shetkar also joined the programme.
The leaders extended Ramzan greetings to members of the Muslim community who attended the Sangareddy Iftar gathering in large numbers.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy praised Jaggareddy’s humanitarian approach. He said Jaggareddy always stepped forward to help anyone facing difficulties.
According to him, the Congress leader possessed a generous heart and remained committed to assisting people in need.
Sangareddy Iftar draws praise for Jaggareddy’s leadership
During the Sangareddy Iftar, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy described Jaggareddy as a person with strong humanitarian values. He said he had attended many Iftar gatherings earlier.
However, he noted that the scale and organisation of the Sangareddy Iftar programme stood out. According to him, the arrangements reflected the strong support Jaggareddy enjoyed among people.
Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha also addressed the gathering. He said the state government remained committed to the welfare of Muslims and minority communities.
He added that the administration continued to implement initiatives aimed at improving social and economic conditions for minorities.
Sangareddy Iftar attended by Congress and minority leaders
Several political and community leaders participated in the Sangareddy Iftar event. TG Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairperson Nirmala Jaggareddy attended the programme.
Youth Congress State General Secretary Jaya Chaitanya Reddy, Bharat Sai Reddy and Sangareddy Municipal Vice Chairman Shafi Hafeez also joined the gathering.
Municipal Chairperson Koona Vanitha Santosh attended along with local leaders including Anjaneyulu, Santosh, Kiran, Mahesh, Srikanth and Praveen.
A large number of Muslim community members participated in the Sangareddy Iftar, which concluded with prayers and the evening meal marking the Ramzan fast.
