Hyderabad: In the Sandhya Theater Case linked to the Pushpa-2 benefit show, the Nampally court returned the police charge sheet for the second time citing deficiencies.
The case relates to the stampede that occurred during the release of the Pushpa-2 Movie starring Allu Arjun at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. One woman died in the incident, while her son continues to undergo treatment.
Police had filed a charge sheet naming Allu Arjun and 22 others as accused in the Sandhya Theater Case. Investigators concluded that negligence on the part of the theatre management led to the stampede.
However, the court identified procedural lapses in the documents submitted. Since the police failed to attach hard disks, CDs and pen drives as supporting material, the court returned the charge sheet again.

Her son, Sritej, fell during the stampede and sustained serious injuries. He remains under medical treatment.
The investigation in the Sandhya Theater Case continues as authorities prepare to resubmit the corrected charge sheet before the court.
