Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar cautioned parents against rising digital addiction among children and urged them to stay vigilant during summer holidays.
He said childhood experiences were increasingly getting confined to smartphone screens. As a result, traditional outdoor activities and social interactions were declining.
Sajjanar said parents often remained busy and failed to spend quality time with children. Consequently, children were drifting into digital isolation and loneliness.
