Hyderabad: South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted a Guntakal Ballari safety inspection on Tuesday, reviewing track conditions and operational safety across the section.
He was accompanied by Guntakal Divisional Railway Manager Chandra Sekhar Gupta and other senior officials during the inspection. The exercise focused on key infrastructure and operational aspects.
The General Manager began with a rear window inspection from Guntakal. He examined railway tracks, curves, level crossings, signalling systems and bridges along the route.
Moreover, the Guntakal Ballari safety inspection included discussions with officials on safety measures and operational efficiency. He reviewed track density and congestion levels in the section.

During the inspection, officials briefed the General Manager on critical and sensitive locations along the section. They also explained plans to strengthen tracks and enhance sectional speed.
Sanjay Kumar Srivastava discussed operational challenges and emphasised coordinated planning. He instructed the Divisional Railway Manager to prepare advance plans with engineering, signalling and operations departments.
This, he said, would help maintain punctuality during maintenance work. He stressed that proper coordination would reduce disruptions to train services.

The General Manager directed staff to remain vigilant during train operations. He said safety must receive top priority at all times.

In addition, he called for continuous supervision of safety protocols across the section. The Guntakal safety inspection concluded with directions to strengthen both infrastructure and operational discipline.
The review highlighted the need for sustained focus on safety and coordination to support efficient railway operations.
