Hyderabad: Director of School Education Naveen Nicolas revised the SA-2 exam dates for Classes 1 to 9 in Telangana, advancing the timetable due to overlapping TOSS examinations.
Officials earlier planned the exams from April 10 to 20. However, the department advanced them by two days to avoid a clash with Telangana Open School Society exams.
As per the revised plan, authorities will conduct the assessments from April 8 to April 18. The department issued the updated timetable through an official statement.
Students from Classes 1 to 7 will write exams from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Meanwhile, Class 8 students will take exams from 9:00 am to 11:45 am.

Further, Class 9 students will write exams from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The department aligned timings to ensure smooth conduct across all classes.
Officials said the revision will help avoid scheduling conflicts with TOSS exams. At the same time, they ensured schools complete assessments within the revised window.
Meanwhile, the department instructed schools to follow the updated timetable strictly. It also asked authorities to make necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of exams.
The revised schedule will apply to all government and aided schools across Telangana.
