Telangana Rythu Commission members take holy dip at Saraswati Pushkaralu

Hyderabad: Members of the Telangana State Rythu Commission took part in the sacred Saraswati Pushkaralu on Thursday morning, performing a ritual dip at the Triveni Sangamam VIP ghat in Kaleshwaram.

The Commission’s chairman, Kodandaram Reddy, along with members Ramreddy Gopal Reddy and Bhavani Reddy, participated in the holy event along with their families. Another member, Gadugu Gangadhar, also joined the group in observing the once-in-12-years spiritual gathering.

After their ritual bath at the confluence, the delegation visited the famed Mukteshwara temple in Kaleshwaram to offer prayers. Chairman Kodandaram Reddy shared that they prayed for the prosperity and wellbeing of Telangana’s farmers and people.

Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the welfare schemes being implemented under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government aimed at supporting the agricultural community. He described the event as a spiritually significant moment and urged citizens to take part in the Pushkaralu, often referred to as the “Southern Kashi.”

Kodandaram Reddy encouraged everyone to embrace the spiritual and cultural essence of the Pushkaralu, reminding that it is a rare opportunity that occurs only once every 12 years.
