Hyderabad: Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Friday said that Rythu Bharosa assistance has been credited to farmers owning up to seven acres, as part of the government’s ongoing support for the rainy season.
An additional ₹905.89 crore was disbursed on the fifth day of payments, benefitting 2.64 lakh farmers. The initiative is part of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s promise to complete the fund transfer within nine days.
Cumulatively, ₹7,310.59 crore has been distributed to date, reaching around 65.12 lakh farmers across the state. The minister assured that all eligible farmers, irrespective of land size, would receive their entitled support.
