Hyderabad: A serious bus accident occurred near Shyampur in Utnoor mandal of Adilabad district after an RTC bus fell off a bridge, injuring several passengers.
Officials said about 25 passengers were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the mishap. As the bus plunged from the bridge, panic gripped those onboard.
Passengers raised cries for help while locals alerted the police. Subsequently, police teams rushed to the spot and began rescue operations.

The driver and multiple passengers sustained injuries. Authorities shifted the injured to Utnoor hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police launched an inquiry to determine the exact cause of the incident. They are examining whether driver negligence or any mechanical failure led to the vehicle falling off the bridge.
