Rs 10 lakh donation to SV Gosamrakshana trust, battery buggies gifted

Hyderabad: An SV Gosamrakshana trust donation of Rs 10,00,116 was made to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Thursday, while five battery-operated buggies worth Rs 33 lakh were also gifted to the temple body.

Kuppala Nilesh Kumar, son of Kuppala Giridhar Kumar, Convenor of Balaji Railway Division Sadhana Samiti, Tirupati, contributed the amount to the SV Gosamrakshana Sala Trust. He handed over the demand draft to TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdhary at his residence.

The trust donation will support activities related to the protection and maintenance of cows under TTD’s care. Officials received the contribution as part of ongoing philanthropic support extended by devotees.

In a separate contribution, Sri Bala Ramajayam, Managing Director of G Square Realtors, Chennai, donated five battery-operated buggies valued at Rs 33 lakh to TTD.

Before the formal handover, Sri Bala Ramajayam performed special pujas in front of the Srivari Temple at Tirumala. He later handed over the buggy keys to the Additional Executive Officer.

The newly donated vehicles are expected to assist in temple-related services and improve mobility within the premises. TTD officials acknowledged both contributions made on the same day.
