Two killed in road accident after ambulance-bus collision in Kamareddy

Hyderabad: A road accident claimed two lives in Kamareddy district after an ambulance collided with a bus near Rameshwarpally in Bhikkanur mandal on Saturday morning.

The ambulance was transporting a patient to Adilabad when a bus coming from the opposite direction hit it. The impact severely damaged the ambulance.

The patient, Saleha Banu (63), and ambulance driver Saifulla Khan (76) suffered critical injuries and died on the spot.

Road accident near Rameshwarpally leaves two dead

Locals noticed the accident and alerted the police. Soon after, police reached the spot and assessed the situation.

They shifted the bodies to a nearby government hospital for post-mortem. Meanwhile, police registered a case and began an investigation.

Officials are examining whether negligence by the bus driver caused the accident. However, further details are yet to emerge.

The victims were on their way to the hospital when the accident occurred, leaving their families in deep grief.
