RIICO delegation visits TGIIC to study Telangana industrial, IT infrastructure

Hyderabad: A high-level Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) delegation on Friday visited Telangana to study the state’s industrial and IT infrastructure ecosystem.

The delegation, led by RIICO Managing Director Shivangi Swarnkar, undertook a detailed study tour of major industrial and technology hubs developed by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC).

The visit, therefore, focused on understanding the best practices that have positioned Telangana as a preferred global investment destination.

As part of the programme, the delegation visited HITEC City, Mindspace, Genome Valley, and the Electronic Manufacturing Clusters at Raviryala and Maheshwaram (E-City).

RIICO delegation reviews Telangana Rising vision at TGIIC

Following the field visits, the RIICO team then held a high-level meeting at the TGIIC head office with K. Shashanka, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, TGIIC, along with senior department heads.

During the interaction, Shashanka briefed the delegation on the Telangana Rising: Vision 2047 initiative. He said the state, in particular, aimed to transition towards a $3 trillion economy while ensuring balanced regional development.

Moreover, he attributed Telangana’s industrial growth to the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the policy direction of Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu.

Meanwhile, RIICO MD Shivangi Swarnkar appreciated TGIIC’s streamlined land management systems and infrastructure maintenance. She added that Telangana’s IT and life sciences ecosystems now serve as benchmarks for other Indian states.
