Revanth Reddy to visit flood-hit areas in Greater Warangal today

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will tour Greater Warangal today (Friday) to assess flood damage and interact with affected families. He will visit Sammayyanagar, Pothananagar, and Rangampet to review ongoing relief operations and hear public grievances firsthand.

Revanth Reddy to inspect flood-hit colonies in Warangal

According to officials, the Chief Minister will leave Begumpet Airport at 12:45 p.m. and begin his visit with an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Husnabad and Warangal. Afterwards, he will reach Warangal Arts and Science College by 1:45 p.m., where he plans to hold discussions with ministers and MLAs about the extent of damage and immediate response measures.

Later, Revanth Reddy will move through the three colonies to inspect damaged houses and infrastructure. Subsequently, he will arrive at the Hanamkonda Collectorate at 3 p.m. to conduct a detailed review with ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and MPs. During the meeting, he will assess flood relief progress, departmental coordination, and rehabilitation efforts.

CM to announce further relief measures

After completing the review, the Chief Minister will return to Hyderabad by 4 p.m. Meanwhile, police have tightened security across all areas on his route. Senior officers are supervising the bandobust in the colonies and at the Collectorate to ensure the schedule proceeds smoothly.

In addition, district officials have compiled detailed reports on crop loss, property damage, and infrastructure restoration needs. They expect the Chief Minister to announce compensation measures for affected families after reviewing the field data. Moreover, the visit is likely to shape the government’s upcoming flood management plan for the region.
