Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Union Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi on Thursday, urging expedited clearance of key Telangana railway projects and pending IT-related proposals. Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Sridhar Babu accompanied him.
At the meeting, Revanth specifically pushed for the establishment of a regional ring rail system around Hyderabad, seeking central support to advance the project.
The Chief Minister had earlier conferred with Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, to discuss unresolved inter-state water disputes.
Revanth is expected to meet more Union Ministers later today. His Delhi visit has gained political weight amid rising debate in Telangana over Backward Class reservation policies.
