Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy congratulated Telangana Police for securing a hat-trick victory by winning the Overall Champion Trophy for the third consecutive time at the All India Police Duty Meet.
He said the achievement reflected the force’s discipline and consistent performance at the national level. Telangana Police secured the title at the 69th All India Police Duty Meet held in Nagpur in 2026.
Earlier, the team won the championship in Lucknow in 2024 and in Ranchi in 2025. With this, the force maintained a winning streak over three years.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy said continuous training under CID supervision played a key role in the success. He noted that the teams maintained high standards across multiple categories.

Further, Telangana Police won top honours in Anti-Sabotage Check, Videography, and Computer Awareness at the Nagpur meet. In addition, the team secured runner-up positions in Scientific Aids to Investigation and Police Photography.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the entire police force. He also extended special congratulations to DGP B Shivadhar Reddy and CID Additional DG Charu Sinha.
According to him, the achievement highlighted the dedication and professionalism of the force. At the same time, he said such performances enhanced the state’s reputation at the national level.
He added that the government would continue to support police training and capacity building.
