Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended financial and livelihood support to Shiva, who rescued several people from Hussain Sagar at Tank Bund.
The Chief Minister provided ₹5 lakh as financial assistance. In addition, officials handed over a Home Guard appointment letter to Shiva’s son, Venumadhav.
Revanth Reddy extends assistance to the rescuer’s family
Shiva has saved the lives of numerous people who accidentally fell into Hussain Sagar. However, he faced financial difficulties in supporting his family.
Following this, the Chief Minister directed officials to extend necessary support. Subsequently, they initiated multiple measures, and Shiva’s family met the Chief Minister.
During the meeting, Shiva requested a swimming pool near Tank Bund to support his livelihood. The Chief Minister instructed officials to examine the proposal.
He also ordered the sanction of a double-bedroom house for the family. Shiva’s family expressed happiness over the assistance and appreciated the response.
