CM Revanth Reddy calls for equality on Minority Rights Day

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, in his Minority Rights Day message, urged citizens to work with firm commitment to constitutional values to build a discrimination-free society that ensured equal opportunities for all. He said every individual must actively uphold these principles to strengthen democracy.

The Chief Minister said protecting the rights of minority communities reflected the true strength of India’s democratic framework. Moreover, he stressed that respecting the cultural and social identity of minority groups remained essential for social harmony. He added that inclusive governance helped create trust among diverse sections of society.

He further said unity and tolerance formed the foundation of national progress. According to him, sustained development became possible only when people moved forward with mutual respect and understanding.

In his Minority Rights Day message, Revanth Reddy said democratic values thrived when governments safeguarded minority rights without discrimination. At the same time, he noted that social cohesion depended on collective responsibility from all sections.

He said constitutional ideals provided clear guidance for inclusive growth. Therefore, he called upon citizens to embrace equality, tolerance and mutual respect as guiding principles. He said such an approach alone could ensure comprehensive and balanced development.
