Hyderabad: The Harvard AI symposium will feature Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy as a keynote speaker, and he will deliver the address virtually on Friday.
The event, hosted by Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education, will bring together leaders from government, industry, and academia. It aims to examine the rapidly evolving global landscape of artificial intelligence.
Although organisers invited him to attend in person, the Chief Minister chose virtual participation due to the ongoing Telangana Budget session. Therefore, he will not travel to Boston.
Harvard AI symposium to host global experts
Jeremy Weinstein will open the Harvard AI symposium with introductory remarks. The Business & Government PIC and the AI & Tech Policy Caucus are supporting the event at the Kennedy School.
Organisers will host the symposium at the Harvard Kennedy School campus. In addition, several Harvard-based think tanks are supporting the discussions.
The Harvard AI symposium will examine artificial intelligence across governance, economic competitiveness, geopolitics, and human capital. Moreover, speakers will lead panel discussions on the race to AGI, AI in emerging markets, geopolitics of compute, and the future of work and education.
The event will feature a global lineup of speakers. These include Anousheh Ansari, Illango Pachamuthu, Harvard Center for International Development representative Global Fatema, and Landry Signe.
Organisers said the symposium will enable dialogue among policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders. Therefore, the Harvard AI is expected to address key global challenges and opportunities in artificial intelligence.
