Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Goddess Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devi temple at Basara at an estimated cost of ₹225 crore.
Earlier, Revanth Reddy visited the temple with his family and offered prayers. The programme marked the start of redevelopment works at the temple.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Konda Surekha and Jupally Krishna Rao, and Government Advisor Sudarshan Reddy attended the event. MP Vem Narender Reddy and PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud also joined the programme.
Revanth Reddy to launch projects and address public meeting in Adilabad
Further, the Chief Minister will travel to Pipri in Adilabad district later in the day.
At Pipri, he will lay foundation stones for several development projects in the region. He will also address a public meeting.
Meanwhile, he will highlight local issues and outline the government’s development plans for the district. Officials said the visit includes both religious and development programmes.
