Reintegrated Maoist cadres brief CM on rehabilitation concerns
During the interaction, the DGP informed the Chief Minister that 591 Maoists had reintegrated into society over the past two years. He said improved rehabilitation policies and coordinated police efforts encouraged several senior leaders to return to the democratic mainstream.
The Chief Minister held a direct discussion with the former cadres and congratulated them for choosing the democratic path. He stated that violence cannot offer permanent solutions and that only democratic systems can fulfil people’s aspirations.
