Hyderabad: A Rangareddy water sump death was reported after a nine-year-old girl fell into a water sump and died in Tallapalliguda village of Manchal mandal in Rangareddy district.
According to locals, the victim was identified as Milky, a resident of the village. She was playing near her house when she accidentally fell into a water sump located beside the residence.
Family members noticed her absence shortly after. However, they found her floating motionless in the sump. The sudden water sump death left the parents in deep shock as the child had been playing moments earlier.
Police rushed to the spot upon receiving information. Subsequently, they registered a case and began an investigation into the incident.
Authorities said further details were awaited as inquiries continued into the Rangareddy water sump death.
