Minister Azharuddin reviews Ramzan Dawat-e-Iftar arrangements at LB Stadium

Hyderabad: Telangana Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin directed officials to speed up preparations for the Ramzan Dawat-e-Iftar programme scheduled at LB Stadium.

The minister held a coordination meeting at the stadium with officials from several departments. Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir and senior Minorities Welfare officials joined the review.

Azharuddin said this will be his first Ramzan Dawat-e-Iftar programme after assuming charge as minister. Therefore, he asked officials to organise the event on a grand scale.

Ramzan Dawat-e-Iftar preparations reviewed

The minister asked all departments to coordinate closely for the Ramzan Dawat-e-Iftar event. He stressed strict security measures and proper food safety standards. Officials must also ensure enough food counters, staff and drinking water facilities.

Nearly 10,000 people may attend the programme. Therefore, the minister asked officials to follow protocol arrangements strictly.

He instructed the police department to manage traffic, security and parking facilities. Police must also prepare traffic diversion plans near the venue.

The Roads and Buildings Department will arrange the stage, galleries and barricades. Meanwhile, catering teams will set up adequate food counters for guests.

The minister also asked officials to maintain strict food quality standards. Authorities must conduct food safety checks before serving meals.

GHMC officials must maintain cleanliness across the stadium. They will also carry out sanitation work during the event.

Officials must ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and drinking water. They will also keep a soundproof generator on standby.

The Horticulture Department will decorate the dais with flowers. It will also arrange plants and decorative pots across the venue.

Medical teams will set up health camps at the stadium. Doctors and ambulances will remain available throughout the event. Fire department teams will deploy fire tenders near cooking areas as a safety measure.

The Information Department will install LED screens and public address systems. It will also arrange a live broadcast of the programme.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, several ministers, MLAs, MLCs and religious leaders will attend the Dawat-e-Iftar.

Haj Committee Chairman Syed Khusro Pasha, Minorities Finance Corporation Chairman Obaidullah Kotwal, Urdu Academy Chairman Taher Bin Hamdan and Wakf Board Chairman Azmatullah Hussaini attended the meeting along with officials from several departments.
