Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao highlighted the significance of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam during an interaction with women in Khanapur.
He held the interaction on Monday, where women participants expressed enthusiasm over the legislation. They also conveyed appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting women-led development.
Addressing the gathering, Ramchander Rao said the women’s reservation law represents a major step towards increasing women’s participation in the democratic process.

He said the legislation would enhance the representation of women in legislative bodies and strengthen their role in policymaking. According to him, it empowers a large section of the population whose voices remained underrepresented.
Moreover, he described the Act as a transformative measure rather than just a policy reform. He said it would strengthen democratic institutions and promote inclusive governance.
He added that the initiative would contribute to India’s progress towards becoming a developed nation.
