Jaggareddy family offers ₹2.5 crore ornaments to Ram Mandir in Sangareddy

Hyderabad: TPCC Working President Jaggareddy and his family offered gold and silver ornaments worth ₹2.50 crore to the Ram Mandir in Sangareddy on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The Ram Mandir witnessed a grand procession as the family carried the ornaments to the temple.

Jaggareddy and his wife Nirmala, along with their children, took out the procession from their residence amid Vedic chants. Moreover, they later submitted the ornaments at the temple.

Ram Mandir in Sangareddy receives ₹2.5 crore ornaments

Religious heads oversaw the arrangements for the مراسم of Sitarama Kalyanam. Meanwhile, Madhavananda Saraswati Swamy of Rangapet Peetham supervised the event, and Maheshwara Sharma Siddhanti led the rituals.

Jaggareddy, along with his associates, Ram Mandir Yuva Sena, and temple committee members, arranged the specially crafted ornaments. In addition, artisans prepared these ornaments exclusively for Lord Rama and Sita.

The offerings included gold ornaments weighing 2.25 kg. These featured crowns, necklaces, waist belts, ornaments for hands and feet, bow and arrow, sacred thread, nose ornament, and other decorative items.

For the deity of Sita, the ornaments included mangalsutra and lotus-hand designs. Meanwhile, ornaments such as conch and chakra were also part of the set.

The family also offered silver items weighing around 10 kg. These included an idol of Adishesha and a silver Kalyana Peeta prepared for temple use.

Earlier, the family conducted special puja at their residence in Ram Nagar. Subsequently, they carried the ornaments in a procession to the Ram Mandir.

Priests later adorned the deities with the gold ornaments after the submission. Consequently, devotees witnessed the decorated idols during the celebrations.
