HYDERABAD, January 31: The State Election Commission (SEC) has directed district panchayat officials to consider the revised voter list issued by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEC) and prepare a supplementary voter list. The supplementary list must be finalised by February 3.
According to the SEC’s instructions, the supplementary list should be compiled alongside the existing voter list, accounting for any necessary additions or deletions. A meeting with political leaders regarding voter removals and inclusions will be held on February 4.
By February 6, the final supplementary list, broken down by wards, must be approved and ready for use in upcoming elections.
