Hyderabad: District Collector Pratima Singh flagged off a food safety awareness walk in Medak on Monday as part of a special campaign by the Health Department.
The rally began at Ambedkar Chowrasta and proceeded to Ramdas Chowrasta in the district headquarters. Officials organised the programme to promote awareness on safe and healthy eating habits.
The Health Department conducted the special observance to highlight the importance of safe food practices. Participants joined the walk to spread awareness among the public.

Further, officials said the programme aimed to educate people on adopting hygienic and nutritious food habits. They stressed the need to avoid unsafe and unhealthy food consumption.
