PJTSAU question paper leakage triggers action against staff, 35 admissions cancelled

Hyderabad: Question paper leakage at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) forced the university to act against four staff members and cancel 35 in-service BSc Agriculture admissions.

University officials noticed that semester question papers were reaching students before exams. After checking the issue, they confirmed the leakage and took immediate action.

Officials said the leak involved third-year first-semester question papers for the 2025–26 academic year. They found that some staff members helped students access the papers early.

Question paper leakage spread through WhatsApp

University officials said the leaked papers were shared with students of other agriculture colleges through WhatsApp. The investigation showed clear staff involvement in the circulation.

After confirming the malpractice, the university cancelled the admissions of 35 Assistant Agriculture Officers admitted under the in-service quota. Officials said the move aimed to protect exam fairness.

The university also formed a three-member committee to conduct a detailed inquiry. The panel will identify those responsible for the question paper leakage.

Officials said the university would take further action based on the committee’s findings.
