Hyderabad: A man was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle while trying to cross the road near the Mylardevpally police limits.
The incident took place in front of a hotel, with the driver fleeing the scene immediately after the collision. Police reached the spot after receiving information from the locals.
The victim, who has yet to be identified, was declared dead on the scene. His body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem and identificaton.
Police are now scanning CCTV footage from the area to track the vehicle and piece together what happened. A case has been filed, and efforts are ongoing to identify the deceased and find the driver who fled.
