Peddapalli mandal surveyor, aide booked by ACB for graft

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday booked Peddapalli Mandal Surveyor Paindia Sunil and a private person, Katukuri Rajender Reddy, in a criminal misconduct case.

According to the ACB, Sunil demanded ₹10,000 from a complainant to provide a survey panchanama copy of land. He told the complainant to transfer the amount to Rajender Reddy via PhonePe. On July 9, 2025, the complainant sent the money as instructed. The ACB said Sunil acted dishonestly and misused his position for personal gain.

Both accused were arrested and will be produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases in Karimnagar.
