Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials arrested M. Anil, Panchayat Secretary of Madhuranagar village in Gangadhara mandal, Karimnagar district, for taking a bribe of ₹10,000 from a complainant. The bribe was demanded to process a file related to the Indiramma Housing Scheme, officials said.
ACB teams caught Anil red-handed while accepting the bribe amount from the complainant. The officials stated that the accused would face legal action under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
