Hyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday called the Sigachi Pharma blast in Sangareddy district a deeply unfortunate incident and urged the state government to order an immediate inquiry.
Owaisi said over 36 workers had died in the blast, with most victims reportedly from Jharkhand. He expressed concern over the severity of the explosion and stated that several bodies were charred beyond recognition, requiring DNA testing for identification.
He hoped that following Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to the site, the investigation would move swiftly.
Owaisi further demanded that if any negligence by the Sigachi Pharma management is established, stringent action should be taken without delay.
