Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission extended the OTR update deadline, giving candidates a final chance to update and validate their One Time Registration details. The OTR update deadline now runs until April 10, 2026.
The commission launched this exercise to remove discrepancies and ensure complete candidate records. Consequently, it aims to speed up recruitment processing and enable early declaration of results.

Officials directed all registered candidates to update their OTR details and upload required certificates within the revised timeline. Moreover, only candidates who complete this process can apply for upcoming recruitment notifications.
The commission clarified that new candidates can register even after the deadline. However, existing candidates must update their records within the stipulated period.
Candidates who gained additional qualifications can update them later through the editable section. At the same time, the commission warned that registered users cannot create fresh registrations.
Authorities said any attempt to submit duplicate applications will amount to data tampering. Therefore, such actions will invite strict consequences.
The commission urged candidates to treat the extended deadline as the final opportunity. It also stated that it will not grant further extensions under any circumstances.
Officials warned that failure to update details will directly affect eligibility for future recruitment notifications. Therefore, candidates must complete the process immediately to avoid disqualification.
