Hyderabad: The Department of Business Management at Osmania University has achieved a record 90 percent campus placement rate, setting a new benchmark for the institution’s placement performance.
Federal Bank emerged as the top recruiter, selecting a large number of students and offering an annual package of ₹16 lakh among the highest packages secured during this placement season. HDFC Bank also extended offers to several students, with compensation reaching up to ₹8 lakh per annum.
University sources credited the success to consistent efforts by faculty and placement coordinators. Students who secured placements expressed gratitude to Vice Chancellor Prof. Kumar, Registrar Prof. Naresh Reddy, and Head of the Department Prof. Jahangir for their guidance and support.
