HYDERABAD: The prestigious Osmania University in Hyderabad is all set to celebrate its 108th Foundation Day on April 26. The celebrations will feature K. Keshav Rao, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Public Affairs and an alumnus of the university, and Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand as chief guests.
In a significant achievement, the Arts College building of Osmania University has been granted trademark status, placing it among India’s iconic architectural landmarks. Following Mumbai’s Taj Hotel and the Bombay Stock Exchange, it is now the third building in the country to receive this distinction.
The trademark certificate was formally handed over to Vice-Chancellor Professor Kumar by alumnus Subhajit Saha, marking a proud moment for the university community ahead of its milestone anniversary.
