HYDERABAD: A burglary was reported at a residence in Hangarga village of Potangala mandal, Nizamabad district, leading to the theft of gold, silver, and a two-wheeler.
According to the details provided by the family members, Putti Ramulu, a resident of the village, had been sleeping on the terrace every night due to the summer heat. As usual, on Monday night, Ramulu and his family slept on the roof. However, on Tuesday morning, they woke up to find the doors of their house open, raising their suspicion.
Upon inspecting the house, they found that the cupboard had been broken into. The family reported the loss of approximately 5 tolas of gold ornaments, 2 tolas of silver, and a two-wheeler parked in front of the house.
The family immediately informed the Kotagiri police, who reached the site and collected details for the investigation. Authorities have registered a case and are continuing with their enquiries.
