Hyderabad: The Telangana chapter of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) celebrated its 30-year anniversary at Fort Grand, highlighting its role in connecting real estate developers, the government, and homebuyers since 1995.
NAREDCO Telangana has emerged as a critical industry voice over the decades, promoting transparency, regulatory awareness, and consumer protection in the real estate sector. With over 300 members today, including many of the state’s top developers, the association has positioned itself as a self-regulatory platform for credible real estate practices.
NAREDCO Telangana 30 years of stakeholder collaboration
The Association has been instrumental in advancing policy reform and infrastructure-linked growth. Through its flagship property shows and other events, it has facilitated direct engagement between policymakers and the real estate community. This effort has helped align expectations across stakeholders, from developers to homebuyers.

“NAREDCO has played a key role in setting realistic expectations between developers, buyers, and the government,” said Vijaya Sai Meka, President of NAREDCO Telangana. Reflecting on the association’s journey, he credited its advocacy and events since the 2010s for strengthening public-private collaboration in the city’s real estate growth.
K. Sreedhar Reddy, Secretary General of the body, recalled its formation during a time of economic uncertainty. “When we started in 1995, the market was facing a downturn. But with milestones like the launch of Cyber Towers in the early 2000s, we have seen Hyderabad transform. It’s been a privilege to be part of this journey,” he said.
NAREDCO Telangana continues to promote verified housing projects, ethical practices, and informed decision-making for homebuyers. As Hyderabad grows into a major real estate hub, the association reiterated its commitment to serving the sector and its stakeholders for the next three decades.
