Muthoot Gold Point opens 103rd branch in Hyderabad’s Chanda Nagar

Hyderabad: Muthoot Exim (P) Ltd. on Friday opened a new Muthoot Gold Point Hyderabad centre in Chanda Nagar, marking its 103rd branch in India and expanding its presence in Telangana. The facility is the 10th in the state and the seventh in Hyderabad.

The new centre is located at Prabhakar Plaza in Chanda Nagar. It is designed to improve access to organised gold recycling services in the area. Officials said the Muthoot Gold Point Hyderabad expansion aims to provide customers with a safe and transparent platform to sell old and used gold.

Customers at the centre can observe the valuation process, which is conducted using scientific methods. The company said this approach ensures fair and accurate pricing. In addition, instant cash payments are offered for gold valued up to Rs 10,000, while higher amounts are processed through digital transfer modes.

Muthoot Gold Point Hyderabad expansion targets transparency

Thomas Muthoot, Executive Director of Muthoot Pappachan Group and Managing Director of Muthoot Exim, said Hyderabad has a strong cultural and economic link with gold. He said the Muthoot Gold Point Hyderabad expansion would strengthen the company’s footprint in Telangana.

He added that the new centre would support customers in monetising unused gold responsibly. According to him, the initiative also contributes to building a structured and sustainable gold ecosystem in the country.

Keyur Shah, CEO of Muthoot Exim, said Chanda Nagar is a rapidly growing residential and commercial hub. He noted that customers in the area treat gold as both a cultural asset and a financial reserve. Therefore, he said the new centre would bring transparent evaluation services closer to the community.

Muthoot Gold Point Hyderabad network continues expansion

Muthoot Exim said it has been a pioneer in organised gold recycling in India. The company launched its first Gold Point Centre in Coimbatore in 2014. Since then, it has expanded operations to several major cities across the country.

The company said its centres focus on enabling responsible gold recycling while ensuring customer convenience. Moreover, it stated that the Muthoot Gold Point Hyderabad expansion aligns with its strategy to widen access to trusted gold valuation services nationwide.
