HYDERABAD, February 1: MP DK Aruna has expressed her approval of the Union Budget 2025-26, stating that it brings significant benefits to the middle class. Speaking to the media in Delhi, she emphasized that the budget paves the way for development. She conveyed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for providing tax relief, noting that citizens had been requesting such measures. Aruna also highlighted the incentives offered to individuals establishing startups.
Addressing criticisms regarding the absence of specific mentions of Telangana in Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget speech, Aruna clarified that individual states are typically not referenced. She explained that the Union Budget is designed for the entire nation and that specific state issues are only mentioned when necessary. Aruna reiterated that it is uncommon for states to be individually named in the budget speech.
In her remarks, Aruna underscored the inclusive nature of the budget, aiming to foster growth across various sectors without singling out particular regions. She believes that the measures introduced will have a positive impact nationwide.
