Hyderabad: The southwest monsoon revived over Hyderabad and adjoining districts on Monday night after a gap of nearly a month, bringing moderate rainfall and cooler conditions across the region.
The highest rainfall in Hyderabad was recorded at BHEL Factory, Ramachandrapuram (27.3 mm), followed by Tolichowki, Karwan (26.4 mm), MCH building in Musheerabad (24.8 mm), Mahadevpura in Quthbullapur-Gajularamaram (25.5 mm), and Jubilee Hills-Shaikpet (24.5 mm).
In Siddipet district, Wargal mandal received the highest rainfall at 63.3 mm. Dandepalli in Mancherial district recorded 61.5 mm.
Other notable rainfall figures included 58.8 mm in Gummadidala mandal of Sangareddy, 56.3 mm at Bandamadaram in Medchal-Malkajgiri, 51.3 mm at Islampur in Toopran mandal of Medak, 51 mm at Andole in Sangareddy, and 50 mm at Tangaturthi mandal in Suryapet district.
