Moinabad Farmhouse Case custody plea verdict reserved till Monday

Hyderabad: A court reserved its order on the custody petition in the Moinabad Farmhouse Case and posted the matter to Monday after hearing arguments from both sides.

Police sought custody of the accused in the Case for a week. They told the court they needed time to question Pilot Rohit Reddy, Ritesh Reddy and Namit Sharma. They said they must collect further evidence linked to the farmhouse episode.

During the hearing at Upparpally court, both sides argued at length. Counsel for the accused opposed the custody request. In contrast, government lawyers argued that the case required detailed interrogation.

Police maintained that they must question the accused to gather crucial information. Therefore, they pressed for custody to move the probe forward in the Moinabad Farmhouse Case.

After hearing both sides, the court reserved the verdict and adjourned the matter to Monday. The accused remain in judicial remand.

The upcoming order will determine the next course of investigation in the case.
