Mohan Babu plea on journalist attack FIR adjourned by Telangana High Court

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Monday adjourned a petition filed by noted Telugu actor Mohan Babu seeking to quash an FIR registered against him over an alleged assault on journalist Ranjith. The case was registered at Pahadi Shareef police station.

During the hearing, Mohan Babu’s counsel urged the court to set aside the FIR, arguing that the charges were baseless. However, the government pleader sought additional time to present the state’s stand on the issue.

Taking note of the request, the court postponed further proceedings to July 9.
