Hyderabad: The Telangana government has finalised assignments for ministers and senior leaders to present silk clothes at various Bonalu temples across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as part of this year’s official festival proceedings.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will visit the Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad on July 13 to make the government’s formal offering.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will represent the State at the Simhavahini Mahankali temple in Lal Darwaza on August 20.
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy is assigned to the Mahankali-Mahakaleshwara temple in Nacharam, while Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha will go to the Darbar Maisamma temple in Karwan.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is scheduled for the Bhagyalakshmi temple near Charminar. Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu will visit Akkanna Madanna temple in Haribowli.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will present clothes at Katta Maisamma temple in Chilakalaguda.
On August 1, Ministers Konda Surekha and Ponnam Prabhakar will jointly visit the Ellamma-Pochamma temple in Balkampet.
Further visits include Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao to Nallapochamma temple in Sublimandi, Minister Seethakka to Khila Maisamma temple in NTR Nagar, and Minister Jupally Krishna Rao to Mahankali temple in Meeralam Mandi.
Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy is tasked with Mutyalamma temple in BHEL. V Venkateshwarulu will visit Mahankali temple in Gowlipura.
Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar is assigned to Jagadamba temple in Sultan Shahi, and Speaker G Prasad Kumar will offer clothes at Jagadamba Mahankali temple in Golconda Fort, joined by Ministers Konda Surekha and Ponnam Prabhakar.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy will attend rituals at Mahankali temple in Uppuguda.
Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav is assigned to Bangaru Maisamma temple in Boyiguda. GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi will visit the Bangaru Maisamma temple in Haribowli.
Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash will go to Mahankali temple in Amberpet, and Deputy Speaker Jatoth Ramachander Naik to Darbar Maisamma temple in Aliabad.
