Hyderabad: Labour and Mines Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy conducted a morning walk within the limits of Chennur Municipality to review civic issues.
During the walk, the Minister visited several wards. He also interacted directly with local residents to understand their problems.
Residents raised concerns over drinking water scarcity. They also complained about non-functioning borewells and sanitation issues in their localities.
In response, Minister Vivek directed municipal officials to step up sanitation measures immediately. He asked them to address hygiene-related issues without delay.
Minister Vivek assures infrastructure upgrades in Chennur
The Minister assured residents that authorities would soon construct new cement concrete roads in the affected wards. He also said officials would install borewells wherever necessary.
He clarified that these steps would help prevent any shortage of drinking water. Further, he said the government would examine public issues at the ground level.
The Minister added that officials would resolve problems promptly after verification. He stressed that citizen feedback would guide administrative action.
Local public representatives and party leaders joined the programme. Officials from the municipal administration and other departments were also present.
